Jekyll Island Club Resort, Jekyll Island

Our stay at the resort was magical, as it truly felt like stepping back in time. The grounds were beautiful and perfectly maintained, making for peaceful evenings strolling with our dog. The dining options were a highlight, especially at Eighth Ocean, although the experience at the Grand Dining Room had some inconsistencies. While the rooms were spacious and charming, we did notice a few areas that could use slight updates.

The Jekyll Island Club Resort is truly a charming escape. Surrounded by beautiful historic grounds and well-maintained gardens, my stay was enhanced by the different dining options and recreational activities available. Both the accommodations and the staff's attentiveness made my experience memorable; however, the beach water was a bit muddy, which slightly took away from the idyllic setting.

My stay at this historic resort was a mixed bag. While the beautifully maintained grounds and quality dining made for some memorable experiences, the room I received left much to be desired in terms of noise and comfort. Additionally, the amenities were enjoyable, but the overall maintenance is lagging behind what you would expect from such a storied venue.

While the dining options were top-notch, the service, especially regarding access to some amenities, left much to be desired. The room we stayed in was spacious, but the shower had some issues. Overall, I felt that for the price, I expected a bit more in terms of access and service.
